Slideshow

OK, my last post for the day! I have found an intersting slideshow about Harajuku and unusual youth fashions. Would be useful when doing describing people and clothing. Students might find it interesting to research these subcultures too.

I did have a few problems on this site, as most searches I put in came up with things that weren't appropriate for students ('Dating' Japanese women!!). But for use to embed powerpoint presentations in other things it would be good.

    High school students would be interested in this slide show for the very different culture. I had similar problems on the slideshare site when I was looking for appropriate slide shows.

    It comes down to those search terms again... It's very rare that you'd have students searching the site! And as a teacher it helps using extra keywords like "education" and "study" in the search to narrow it down. Using keywords in the target language also helps... just like with Googling :)
